Our Mission Statement |
Mount St. Dominic Academy and Seton Hall Prep have mottos that guide the actions and values of their students. For MSDA, Veritas and Caritas, which translates to Truth and Love. For SHP, Hazard Zet Forward, which translates to Whatever the Peril, Ever Forward. These mottos combined make for a group of students on our team that act with love and respect for each other and push forward no matter the difficulty. Each member is encouraged to respect and care about teammates while learning perseverance and determination. In addition to our value-driven students, Team 5992 has exceptional mentors and leaders pushing this mission forward at every meeting. We have made it a priority to set an example for new members and teach them new skills so they can meaningfully contribute to the team. Our student leaders are also at the forefront of service at their respective schools, leading multiple initiatives and clubs to better their community. To keep the team’s outreach and service active, these students engage the robotics team in service events. These factors have led to a driven, inclusive group of current and future student leaders.
